01 Who a seller is
A seller here is a ship, identified by its number, not by the name shown on the lot. Names repeat in the game,
which is why it appends #1 and #2 to matching ones; the number tells them apart on its own. A player who renames
their ship keeps the same number, so their record follows them, and their older lots keep the older name. Those
earlier names are listed on the seller’s card.
02 SOLD %
Out of the lots that closed in this window, the share that closed by a sale rather than by running out of time.
A lot that was partly bought and then reached its 48 hours closed as expired, even though it earned money, so it
lowers this share while still adding to REVENUE. A seller whose lots are all still hanging has nothing closed to
divide by, and the column shows a dash.
03 ON SALE
What the seller has hanging right now, and what it would bring at the asking price. This one column ignores the
period: it describes the shelf as it stands this minute, not the window the rest of the row is counted over.
04 Inside a seller
Open a name and the card breaks the row down by item. VS MEDIAN puts their median price for an item against the
median of every sale of that item in the same window, their own sales included; SHARE OF UNITS is how many of the
item’s units in that window were theirs, which is why it counts pieces where SOLD % counts lots. When nobody
else sold the item, there is nothing to compare against and VS MEDIAN shows a dash: a zero would claim a comparison
that never happened. The two shelf tables below it price by the piece: PER UNIT is what one item
costs, TOTAL what the whole lot would bring. The dates in the card’s header describe the whole record rather than the window, and a
ship still holding lots is marked as selling right now, because the last time we saw it is this very minute.
