01 Five lines run at once
A rule is a condition and an action. Rules are not read straight down the list: the action decides which line
the rule belongs to: POWER, TARGET, AMMO, SPECIAL or DOOR. Each line is read on its own, top to bottom, until a
rule both matches its condition and gets carried out. A room is targeted by no more weapons than it has squares,
so picking a target can fail and the TARGET line moves on: a run of unconditional targets is a priority list, not
a mistake. Nothing can stop a power command, so there an unconditional rule closes every rule below it in its line.
02 Who can run what
Crew and rooms get different commands. Crew move and target, so they take the TARGET and SPECIAL lines and the
conditions about the room they stand in. A room takes the lines its game data allows: 68 actions exist,
and a Missile Launcher is offered 45 of them, a Shield Battery 13. A room gets an AI screen when it draws power,
so the bridge, the storage rooms and the reactors have none. Conditions are shared except for
162 minus the ones about the current and origin room, which only crew can see. Change the owner and the
rules that the new owner cannot run are dropped, with a note saying how many.
03 Python opens conditions
Most conditions sit behind the Python research, steps 1 to 3. The Python control does not change the script:
it changes what the picker offers and flags the rules your ship cannot run yet. Seven more conditions sit behind
a lab level the game never opens, and they are not offered at all.
04 The link is the script
The whole script lives in the address, so the page works without JavaScript and the link opens with the rules
already in place. SHARE copies that address. It does not paste into the game: the game's own Copy AI keeps the script to itself
and never reaches the system clipboard, so the script still travels by hand. The limit is 30 rules,
the same as the game takes.
05 Presets come from the game's AI chips
An AI chip is an item the game sells: you buy it and drop a ready script onto a room or a crew member. PRESETS
lists the chips that fit the owner you picked, and a click replaces the whole script. The rules are exactly what
the game ships, dead lines and all: five chips start a power line with an unconditional rule that silences
everything below it. CHECK says which line never runs; we do not rewrite what the game wrote.
