01 What a transfer is
Every row of the game's public rankings carries the player's fleet. When two consecutive observations of a
player show different fleets, that is a transfer: from one fleet to another (Moved in TYPE), into a fleet from
no fleet (Joined) or out of a fleet into no fleet (Left). A single observation with a new fleet is not enough.
It is confirmed by a second one, or by four hours without the old fleet showing up again, so a player seen as B,
A, B within one window has not moved anywhere.
02 The time is a window
DATE is the day of the first observation in the new fleet; hover it for the whole window between two
observations: the last one in the old fleet and the first one in the new fleet. The move happened somewhere
inside it, not at either end. The rankings are read every four hours, so the window is usually a few hours wide.
When a sample is missed, the window grows and the row says after a missed sample.
03 Who is in the list
Only players we observe: the monthly top 500 and everyone in the league seasons we follow. A fleet member
outside both never shows up here. # is the player's last place in the monthly ladder within the seven days
before the move, and TOP filters by it; players without such a place get a dash and are listed under All only.
The line above the table counts the moves, joins and leaves that pass the other filters, whatever TYPE is
chosen, and names up to three fleets that the most players joined, two or more each. The same rows for one fleet
are Fleet member changes on its card.
04 Days in the old fleet
From the first to the last observation in the fleet the player left. Time before we started observing does not
count, so a long-time member who joined before our history began shows fewer days than they actually spent
there. A player who joined from no fleet has no old fleet and gets a dash.
