Farming Memory Erasers
ON THIS PAGE
The game doesn’t publish any of this information. Every rule on this page was reconstructed through experiments: crew members of different rarities, levels, stars and training levels were sacrificed, the results were recorded, and the formulas were fitted to the data.
Why Common Receptionists
Why Common crew? The number of Common crew you can keep is limited by your overall crew capacity rather than by your minerals.
Why
Receptionists? Their base SCI 5 and PLT 3 let you farm research points or training points while leveling them.

Fragment chance by level
For a Common crew member with one filled star, the chance of getting a
Memory Eraser Fragment from a sacrifice is:
| Level | Chance | Level | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 16 | 10% | 22 | 65% |
| 17 | 20% | 23 | 70% |
| 18 | 30% | 24 | 75% |
| 19 | 40% | 25 | 80% |
| 20 | 50% | 26 | 90% |
| 21 | 60% | 27 | 100% + 20% |
The Sacrifice calculator shows everything else a sacrifice at your level returns.
If you’re leveling a one-star Common crew member as part of normal play, taking them to level 27 before sacrificing them seems reasonable. The sacrifice guarantees one Memory Eraser Fragment and has a 20% chance of producing a second one.
The farming run
I made a dedicated farming ship layout, filled it with 20
Receptionists, and started grinding. I attacked any ship I could reliably beat with that crew, regardless of how much gas the battle paid. When I stopped farming, I switched back to my main layout.
Around levels 18–19, gas became the bottleneck. Receptionists who had earned enough XP to level up started piling up on my ship, but I couldn’t afford their upgrades.
Where to stop
I eventually stopped at level 21, where each sacrifice has a 60% chance of producing a Memory Eraser Fragment. With my
30% discount, leveling one Receptionist to 21 costs about 1.6 million gas; taking her to 27 costs about 5 million. That difference adds up quickly across 20 crew members.
My advice is to stop when farming gas becomes a chore or a bottleneck for you, but make sure you count the fragment chance at your chosen level.
The result
Finally, I sacrificed 20 one-star Common crew members at level 21.

And that gave me 16 Memory Eraser Fragments.

Optional: Laxative Fragments
I also trained each crew member at least once. The chance from a single training session is small, though: sacrificing a one-star Common crew member gives you a 4% chance of getting a
Laxative Fragment per point of training the crew has.
Practical tips
- Keep your Receptionists while you have space for them. Don’t throw them into space yet, you’ll almost certainly find a use for them.
- A crew member continues to earn battle XP while training in the
Gym or
Academy. - Using a
Memory Eraser does not reset the crew member’s accumulated XP; the new stat pool is gained via Fast Track.
